Mount Sanqingshan National Park was inscribed as a World Natural Heritage Site in 2008.

Located in the northeastern part of Shangrao, Jiangxi Province, it encompasses 10 major scenic areas including Nanqing Garden, West Coast, Sanqing Palace, Tiyun Ridge, Yujing Peak, Sunshine Coast, Yuling Temple, Sandongkou, Bingyu Cave, and Shigu Ridge. Mount Sanqingshan is renowned as a sacred mountain in Taoism, boasting over 1, 500 scenic spots that blend natural and cultural landscapes.

Within a relatively small area, Mount Sanqingshan National Park showcases unique granite pillars and peaks, rich granite rock formations, diverse vegetation, and awe-inspiring climatic phenomena. This combination creates a unique aesthetic effect, presenting captivating natural beauty.
